Idle Thumbs

I co-founded Idle Thumbs, a long-running podcast network and community that has been host to such well-loved shows as the Idle Thumbs Podcast, Something True, Important if True, Three Moves Ahead, Tone Control, Twin Peaks Rewatch, and many more.

In addition to co-owning and running the company, I hosted and produced several original podcasts that accrued millions of downloads, as well as fostering and growing popular third-party shows, including multiple Webby Awards honorees.

In 2012, we launched a successful Kickstarter to crowdfund the company’s expansion as a podcast network, exceeding our target to become at the time the second-highest-grossing video game Kickstarter to date.

Idle Thumbs has existed in some form or fashion since 2004, and despite evolving considerably over its history it has maintained a strong community that I am proud to had a hand in forming.
